WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Sreeja.M (New Hamphire)

Thank you so much for offering this unique class in such an interactive and kid friendly style. My daughter enjoyed, learned a lot and I can see a change in her as she is able to implement it immediately in daily life. She looked forward to your class and I never had to remind her homework. You have a sweet and friendly temperament and approach to engaging the kids. The project at the end was lot of fun and good to reinforce the learnings. My daughter and I are waiting for your next level of sessions.

Meera.S (Chicago)

My son took Sunanda’s coping and listening skills summer 4 day session. I let aaditya attend on his own but I listened in to how things went and I have nothing but amazing things to tell about Sunanda on how engaged she kept the kids. My son never for a minute felt bored and he kept going on and on about what he learned in the one hour. The tips she gave the kids on how to cope with emotions and how important is to listen to what the other person says is very useful. I highly recommend her sessions for kids to better understand their emotions and also help improve the listening skills. I am waiting for more sessions like these from you Sunanda which keeps kids engaged and add value to their emotional well being.

Urmi.T (Chicago)

Adira Leadership Academy teaches kids basic life skills. My daughter Ashna (9 years old) attended the session and learned about listening skills, positive attitude, coping skills and journaling. The class is interactive and keeps children engaged. I am noticing an increased awareness in her. Strongly recommend.

Rakhi (MA)

Both our kids  (ages 8, 5) loved the Beginners chess program offered by Adira leadership academy. It is a well thought out and structured program and helped foster their love for chess  while building their skills.

ACHIEVEMENTS

First Scholar recipient Ogechi (Meaning God's time) She will join our summer online camp program in June.

Today I want to give a big congratulations to the Codeathon 2nd place winner , Aditya Bhatia !

We are so impressed  - take a look at Aditya's game here :

Aditya used Scratch to create the game Earth run! This game uses the foundation of three R's - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

The missions in Earth Run have to do with using items more than once using the three R's including building a car out of old parts and turning the car into a flamethrower to defeat a monster. Plus, there is a party at the end!

ADIRA LEADERSHIP GRADUATE 👩‍🎓

Second grader Surabhi from Illinois whipped this up at a short notice. STEAM is better than STEM. Even her shirt supports her views. Are you convinced? Let us know by liking and sharing. During her free time she loves building with LEGO and the last time I talked to her she was motivated by Autumn Peltier. Click here to watch

ADIRA LEADERSHIP GRADUATE

Ashna 👩‍🎓 fourth-grader from Illinois who started a campaign to raise money for the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya. She is a great role model for next-gen leaders who use their privilege to give back at such a young age. Please encourage and support this young budding leader, we need more of them 👏.

ADIRA CHESS STUDENT

Arya Menon WON IN the LOCAL IAGB tournament as the best female chess player what really helped is the internal tournament practice along with chess classes and solving copious puzzles along with student hard work. Make your move with Adira Leadership Academy.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR BLACK GIRLS

The proud and humble moment for Adira Leadership Academy as we announce 4 coding scholarships for Black girls in Grade 1 - 4 who have the passion and curiosity to learn but don't have the guidance and means to do so.
